The mechanical evolution of text
DynamicScribe is an exploratory writing canvas focused on the mechanical and cognitive evolution of drafting: Draft → Refine → Reimagine → Repeat.
Rather than forcing the writer to view language as a flat, finished surface, it investigates kinetic typography and non-linear drafting environments where words retain their temporal history rather than vanishing on backspace.
Why this project exists
Words are not static objects; they are living traces of deliberation, hesitation, and revision. Traditional word processors discard the ghost of earlier drafts the instant a sentence is deleted or reworded. DynamicScribe visualises draft revisions as layered strata, giving writers a tactile sense of the velocity, momentum, and thought process behind their composition.

Current state
A working prototype and interface experiment. It serves as an active exploration into how digital surfaces can make the labour of writing visible, encouraging writers to embrace revision as discovery.
